Cloudy water, surface scum, and persistent oil buildup are often caused by organic contaminants that chlorine alone doesn’t fully eliminate. GLB Enzyme Clarifier is designed to solve that problem at the source by breaking down oils, lotions, sunscreen residue, and other non-living organic waste that traditional sanitizers leave behind.

Instead of masking water issues or forcing higher chlorine levels, this enzyme-based clarifier digests organic contaminants naturally, helping your filtration system remove them more efficiently. The result is clearer water, fewer surface films, reduced waterline buildup, and a more balanced pool environment—without added stress on swimmers or equipment.

GLB Enzyme Clarifier is safe, non-toxic, and compatible with all major pool sanitizing systems, making it an ideal weekly maintenance product for both residential pools and professionally serviced systems.

How Enzyme Clarifiers Improve Pool Water Quality

Chlorine is excellent at killing bacteria and algae, but it does not remove oils, cosmetics, or environmental organics. These contaminants accumulate over time, creating cloudy water, foaming, and scum lines.

GLB Enzyme Clarifier uses naturally occurring enzymes that target and digest these organics into microscopic particles your filter can remove. By attacking the root cause, enzyme clarifiers improve water clarity without overcorrecting chemistry.

This approach helps stabilize the pool system instead of creating chemical swings.

Why Enzyme Treatment Matters for Modern Pools

Today’s pools see heavier bather loads, more sunscreen use, and higher organic input than ever before. Without enzyme support, those contaminants linger and interfere with sanitizer efficiency.

Why It Matters

• Reduces surface oils and waterline scum

• Improves filtration efficiency

• Helps chlorine work more effectively

• Minimizes foaming and cloudy water

• Reduces need for frequent shocking

Using enzymes as part of routine maintenance leads to cleaner water with less chemical intervention.

Ideal for Weekly Pool Maintenance

GLB Enzyme Clarifier is designed for regular preventative use, not emergency cleanup. When added weekly, it continuously breaks down organic waste before it becomes a visible or chemical problem.

It works quietly in the background, supporting:

• Residential pools with heavy swimmer use

• Pools exposed to dust, pollen, and environmental debris

• Systems struggling with recurring cloudiness

• Pools where waterline buildup is a constant issue

Because enzymes are not consumed like chlorine, they continue working between service cycles.

Safe with All Sanitizing Systems

GLB Enzyme Clarifier is compatible with:

• Chlorine pools

• Saltwater pools

• Bromine systems

• Ozone and mineral systems

It does not affect pH, alkalinity, or calcium hardness, making it easy to integrate into existing maintenance routines without additional adjustments.
